About Newcomer Funeral Homes in Toledo

In 1995, we opened Newcomer Funeral Home at 4150 West Laskey Drive in Toledo, because we felt that there was a need in Toledo for a funeral home that provided the absolute best customer service at a low, affordable price. Sometimes, when you pay a little, you get a little. But we were determined to provide more than anyone could expect, at a price that was lower than anyone could believe.
We built our funeral home from the ground up, making sure that it was completely accessible with plenty of parking. From the chapel to the arrangement conference room, it was designed to be warm and welcoming, a comfortable environment for those who were going through a very difficult time. We hired wonderful people. Professional and experienced, with enduring compassion for others, they have always served as a trusted guide for those navigating the process of saying goodbye to a loved one.
Over the years, our community came to truly embrace our belief that a beautiful funeral or cremation service didn’t have to be expensive. Fifteen years later, in 2010, we built our Southwest Chapel at 4752 Heatherdowns Boulevard, to more conveniently serve families on the southwest side of Toledo. More recently, in 2018, we opened our West Sylvania Chapel at 3655 King Road, which has an on-site crematory. Families can be comforted that when they choose cremation, their loved one never leaves our care. We also expanded our original funeral home on Laskey Road to include a second chapel, allowing more families to utilize our services at that location.
For over 20 years, our commitment to the best service at a low, fair price, has never changed. Whether you are looking for a simple cremation, a traditional funeral, a cemetery marker, or advance planning for yourself or a loved one, we are here to help.
