In Memory Of
Denise J. Plentz
1950 - 2022
Denise graduated from Whitney Vocational School in Toledo, class of 1968 and furthered her education becoming a licensed cosmetologist. With her love for cosmetology, she had worked as a managing cosmetologist for Regis Corp from 1988, retiring in 2012. Denise enjoyed working and meeting new people. Though retired, she worked at Mama’s Kitchen for 2 years, through the pandemic. Denise liked bowling and shopping. The most important thing in life were her dogs, Kuda, Sassy, Ruthie, and Tessy. They meant the world to her and she treated them like her children. Denise was a kind, loveable, big hearted woman that would do anything for anyone and will truly be missed by all who knew her.
Those left to forever cherish her memory are her loving husband, David Plentz Sr., whom she married on June 10, 1983; four dogs, Kuda, Sassy, Ruthie, and Tessy; two daughters, Tammy (Mark) Hasselkus and Kimberly (Joe) Barto; step-children, David Plentz Jr. and Kathleen Palmer; grandchildren, Aubrey, Sam, Max, Damian, and Mason; step-grandchildren, Austin, Paige, Hannah, Cole, Meryssa, and Katie; four great grandchildren, Oliver, Max, Liam, Everly; and siblings, Kathy Garcia, Karen Gallaher, Thomas Peck; and numerous nieces, nephews, friends, and loved ones.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her nephew, Brian Curtiss.
