1940 - 2021

James M. and Linda I. Blythe passed away hours apart on October 15 and 16, 2021 at Flower Hospital, with their loving family by their sides. Jim was born August 5, 1940 in Toledo to James W. Blythe and Cydona (Jewell) Pratt. Linda was born December 31, 1947 in Belfry, KY to Ralph and Lilly (Chapman) Jude. Jim was employed with AP Parts for 30 years as a Welder/Fabricator. Linda was a Registered Nurse/Supervisor at Lake Park Care Center for 15 years.

They enjoyed bowling, playing golf, gardening, avid Cleveland Indians fans, but the most important part of their lives were their family especially their grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Jim and Linda are survived by their children, Melony (Scott Pinkelman) Auler and Duane Blythe; grandchildren, Joseph (Allison Pinter) Auler, Zachary (Allison) Auler and Kyle (Chelsea) Auler; great-grandchildren, Maxton Auler, Henley Auler and a third great-grandchild in June. Jim’s siblings, Joan (Jerry) Tope, Dennis (Sandy) Pratt, Stanley (Debbie) Pratt, Debbie (Mike) Alvey, Kenneth Blythe and Howard Blythe; sister-in-law, Sharon Blythe and brothers-in-law, Terry Daniels and Larry Phillips. Linda’s siblings, Sue Bynaker, Mark (Loretta) Jude; Mike Jude and Julia (John) Scott.

In addition to their parents, Jim and Linda were preceded in death by several siblings.

The family will receive guests Thursday, October 21, 2021 from 4:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. at Newcomer - SW Chapel, 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd. (419-381-1900). Funeral Services will begin Friday at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home.
