Michelle Andre Newton, age 62, of Findlay, Ohio, passed away Thursday, September 16, 2021 at Bridge Hospice Care Center in Bowling Green, Ohio. She was born January 5, 1959 to Carl and Barbara (Williams) Newton in Los Angeles, California. Michelle was one of 5 children and blessed to have an identical twin sister. Growing up in a large family she was grateful for her lifelong friendships with her siblings, especially her twin sister Denise.
Michelle was a loving daughter, sister, mother, grandmother and friend living her life for her family and others. She was a caregiver and she and her family moved from California to Ohio in the 90's to care for her mother. Michelle had a warm smile, welcoming heart and wonderful sense of humor bringing joy and laughter to those around her. When she loved, she loved with all her soul providing a strong shoulder for others to lean on. Spending time with Michelle allowed you to quickly realize that "she was funny as f**k with no filter". When something had to be said, she was the one to find the right words, communicating them with love, humor and directness.
Michelle enjoyed listening to music including Jazz from artists such as Will Downing and Mary J Blige. She also liked watching her favorite TV shows like Life Below Zero, Tiny Houses and anything to do with home remodeling. A favorite movie of hers was Magic Mike.
In addition to her father, Carl Newton, II, Michelle was also preceded in death by her loving grandson, Thomas Frazier, Jr. and grandmother, Vostile (Mason) Goodrich. She is survived by her mother, Barbara Williams-DeHart; siblings, twin sister Denise Newton, Carl Newton, III, Chris Newton, Sr. and Neena Crawford Rowe; loving sons, Demetrius (Jynn) Thornton, Thomas "TJ" (Tiffany) Frazier and Desmond (Precious) Graham; grandchildren, Kahlil, Titus, Teandre, Tiyana, Deniah, Thomas Jr., Taliah, Kristen, Dijenae, Christina and Desmond, Jr.; nieces and nephew, Alexia, Theresa and Jaylen and a host of additional nieces, nephews, extended family members and dear friends, Misty and Romena "Meme".
