Georgia A. Kemp, age 65, passed away suddenly on Monday, November 26, 2018 at Mercy St. Vincent's Hospital with her family by her side. She was born on August 24, 1953 to Walter and Goldie (Davis) Stevens in Toledo. For many years she worked for Montgomery Ward in various different departments. She loved sewing, crocheting, reading, canning and traveling with family and friends. In her younger years she enjoyed the outdoors and camping. Georgia was an avid Detroit Tiger's, Toledo Mudhen's and Seattle Seahawk's fan!

Left to cherish her memory is her son, James "Jim" (Julie) Kemp; daughter, Macy Shute; grandchildren, Heather (Brandon) McCree, Katelyn Kemp, Isha and Ameliana; great-grandchild, Kaden; brothers, Jeffery (Micki) Stevens and Walt Stevens; special numerous nieces, nephews and dear friends. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, James F. Kemp, Jr.; sisters, Sharon Matone and Joan Dale Shute.

The family will receive guests on Wednesday, December 5, 2018 from 2-7:00 p.m. at Newcomer - Northwest Chapel, 4150 W. Laskey Rd. (419-473-0300) with her Funeral Service starting at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, December 6, 2018 in the funeral home.
