Ella was the matriarch of the family who was very passionate about others. She provided heartfelt guidance to anyone she came across and truly cared about their well-being. Ella loved cooking, jazz music and family!
Ella is survived by her son, Johnny (Vanessa); sister, Ora Lumpkin; grandchildren, LaChona, LaFaye, Antwan, Charles Jr., Johnny Jr., Michael, Chad, Johneice, Ryan, Tariq; many great-grandchildren and best friends, Maggie and Stanley. Ella was a “mother” to Ella, Curtis, Joyce, Jessie, Nuggie and Phyllis.
The family will receive guests on Saturday, September 15, 2018 from 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. The Celebration of Her Life will begin at 12:00 p.m.
