Barbara attended Grove City College and worked as a medical technologist for over 50 years. She retired from Riverside Hospital in Toledo, Ohio. Barbara’s passions in life were her grandchildren, tennis, her camping family on Manitoulin Island, and her dog Tinker.
Left to cherish her memory is her husband of 49 years, Tom; children, Nicole (Joseph) Bihn and Thomas (Kristin) Feightner; sister, Marilyn Tilmont; grandchildren, Samantha, Emily, Jacob and Mitchell. Barb was preceded in death by her parents, Virginia and Karl Fry; brother, David Coon.
The family will receive guests on Tuesday, February 13, 2018 from 3-7:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd., Toledo (419-381-1900). The Funeral Service will begin at 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the BGSU Falcon Marching Band Scholarship Fund.
