In Memory Of
Debbie L. Shirkey-Brocus
1958 - 2018

Debbie Leuane Shirkey-Brocus, age 59, of Wauseon, Ohio passed away after a long battle with cancer on Sunday, January 7, 2017 at ProMedica Ebeid Hospice, where she was surrounded by her loving family. She was born on April 13, 1958 in Toledo to Ralph Leuane Shirkey and Nellie Lenore (Shook) Drayer. Debbie was a graduate of Tidewater Community College and she worked for ProMedica Flower Hospital in the Emergency Department as a Nurses Assistant for 18 years.

Left to cherish her memory is her father, Ralph; children, Corey (Rebecca) Brocus, April Brocus, Jeka Brocus and Sara Beth Pearson; four precious grandchildren; sisters, Lenella (Darrell) Duckett and Teresa (Ricardo) Arredondo; many nieces, nephews, dear friends and co-workers. She was preceded in death by her mother, Nellie Lenore Drayer.

"Love Never Fails"

Debbie personified those words, armed with a smile and an, "I'm ok, you ok?" she loved without reservation. Her bubbly laugh and Minnie Mouse voice never failed to bring joy to all around her. She touched an innumerable amount of lives over the course of her short one, but each person always knew they were loved.
