1939 - 2016

Sharon R. Sawyer, age 77, of Holland, Ohio passed away September 16, 2016 at St. Lukes Hospital. She was born April 27, 1939 in Toledo to Raymond and Elizabeth (Decker) Willis. Sharon was the first female appliance saleswoman in Northwest Ohio, retiring from Appliance Center in 2000.

Sharon is survived by her husband, Robert E. Sawyer; children, Michael (Susan) Sawyer, Kathy Downing, Laura (John) Taylor; grandchildren, Amanda (Shaun) Ziehr, Steven (Jamie) Sawyer, Chelsea Downing, Julia Taylor, Emerson Taylor; great-grandchildren, Easton Ziehr, Isla Ziehr, Mason Sawyer and another great-granddaughter coming in November, Molly; and sister, Karen (Michael) Potts.

Visitation and services will be private.

Sharon was called home after her angelic duties were completed here on earth to meet her mother, and to wait for Bob to join her.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Luke’s Hospital Foundation in Sharon's memory.
