Wilson Blaisdell

Wilson Blaisdell, age 68, of Toledo, Ohio, passed away and went to be with the Lord on January 20, 2024, at Bridge Hospice Care Center. He was born March 27, 1955, in Lima, Ohio, to the late William and Frances Blaisdell.

Wilson graduated from E.L. Bowsher High School. He continued his education at Toledo University, where he graduated with a Bachelors degree. Wilson was a hard and dedicated worker; he enjoyed working for Fairest Flowers for over 15 years, delivering to the local flower shops.

A man of faith, Wilson was an active member of Christian Fellowship Church for over 40 years. He loved and had a very strong relationship with the Lord. His faith was very important to him and he dedicated his life to serve and honor the Lord.

Wilson was a big Ohio State fan. He also enjoyed watching trains, taking road trips with his family, which he never left without his atlas, but most of all, spending time with his family was most important. The memories that were created will forever remembered. Wilson will be missed by those who were blessed enough to knew him. This isn't goodbye, but we will see you again in Heaven!

Those left to forever cherish his memory are his loving wife, Linda (Rodebaugh) Blaisdell, whom he married on November 14, 1987; children, Holly Blaisdell, Todd (Vanna) Blaisdell, and Adam Blaisdell; cousins, Dave, Nancy, and Raemary (Jimmy) Szathmary; sister-in-laws, Lynn Rodebaugh and Michele Rodebaugh; brother-in-law, Randy (Fran) Rodebaugh; and niece and nephews, Chad, Kyle, Katie, Ethan, Eric, Ty (Becca) and Shawn (Natalie) Rodebaugh.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death and greeted in Heaven by two infant sisters, Judy and Jane Blaisdell; brother-in-law, Bryan Rodebaugh; nephew, Dylan Rodebaugh; and father and mother-in-law, Jim and Jo Ann Rodebaugh.

Family and friends may gather at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd., Toledo, Ohio 43614, on Friday, February 2, 2024, from 2:00 pm - 7:00 pm. Funeral services will take place on Saturday, February 3, 2024, at Christian Fellowship Church, 6711 Pilliod Road, Holland, Ohio 43528, at 11:00 am, with Ken Kutz officiating. Wilson will be laid to rest at Woodlawn Cemetery in Toledo, Ohio.
