William Howe Sr., age 61, of Toledo, Ohio, passed away on January 22, 2026, at St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center. He was born on November 10, 1964, in Chicago, Illinois to Jim and Doris (Vanderhoff) Howe.
Bill dedicated 25 years of his career to Olympic Pools, and later worked as a truck driver for Mid-American Salt. He was known for his diverse interests and talents; he loved spending time with his grandchildren, creating content as the Glass City Bushman on YouTube, riding his Harley, and playing musical instruments like the bass guitar and drums. Bill was truly a jack of all trades.
He is survived by his loving wife, Stephanie (Mulholland) Howe; his sons, William Howe II and Joshua Howe; stepson, Lester (Cheyenne) Cornish; and his cherished grandchildren: Gracelynn Paris Howe, Joshua II, Cecelia, Gunner, Blade, Teagin, Paxtyn, Zayden, Alizanna, Everlee, and Laiken. Bill is also remembered by his siblings, Doris Berg, Sandy (John) Gaunt, and Susan Zahs, along with many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Patty Howe.
Family and friends are invited to gather at the Newcomer Funeral Home (Southwest Chapel), located at 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd., Toledo, on Sunday, February 1, 2026, from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM. A memorial service will follow the visitation at 1:00 PM.
Bill’s spirit and the memories he created will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
