William C. Grote, age 85, of Toledo, Ohio, passed away July 21, 2023, at Divine Rehabilitation and Nursing at Sylvania. William was born January 12, 1938, in Toledo, to the late Aloysies and Catherine (Hoffman) Grote.
William graduated from Macomber High School, class of 1956. Following graduation, he enlisted in the United States Army, stationed in Korea, from 1956-1961. William worked at Dana Corp, until his retirement.
Those left to forever cherish his memory are a daughter; a son; and several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, William was preceded in death by his wife, Grace I. (Howell) Grote, whom he married in 1963 until her passing in 2017; two sons; one daughter; and three siblings.
At this time, there will be no funeral services held.
