William M. Flick III

William M. Flick III, fondly known as Bill, was born on March 10, 1966, in Toledo, Ohio, and he passed away peacefully in the same city on August 29, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of laughter and love.

For the past 40 years, Bill dedicated himself to his craft as a drywall finisher, contributing significantly to projects and homes throughout Toledo and its surrounding areas. His skilled hands not only shaped the walls of many homes but also built connections with those who worked alongside him, showcasing his commitment to quality workmanship and community.

Bill was known for his fun-loving spirit and larger-than-life personality, traits that drew many to him. He embraced life with compassion and joy, always ready to share an infectious laugh that will be cherished in the hearts of those who knew him. At times, he could display a stubborn streak, yet it was paired with a heart fiercely committed to his family and friends. His love for fishing and camping at the Lost Peninsula Marina, along with spending time tinkering on his cars and boats, provided him with immense joy. He particularly cherished moments spent on his back porch, relaxing with his beloved dogs, Bosa and Sheba, or lending a hand during burger night at the Riverview Yacht Club, where he and his partner Roxane were active members.

Bill's proudest accomplishments included his cherished Harley-Davidson, an array of cars and trucks, and most importantly, his family. He often spoke fondly about his grandchildren, who were a source of immense pride and happiness for him.

He is survived by his beloved daughter, Madison Gonzales, and her husband Jordan; his four grandchildren, Kazley Alt, Ezra Gonzales, Eliza Gonzales, and Abram Gonzales; his partner in life, Roxane Seymour; brothers Robert Flick and Jason Flick; as well as a host of extended family and good friends.

Bill was preceded in death by his father, William Flick Jr., and his mother, Patricia Flick. The loss of his vibrant presence will be felt deeply by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Visitation will be held at the Newcomer Funeral Home, Northwest Toledo, located at 4150 W Laskey Rd, Toledo, OH 43623, on September 12, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, prior to a memorial service starting at 4:00 PM.
