William T. "Billy" Davis

William Tyrone Davis age 82 of Toledo, Ohio passed away on September 29, 2026 at St. Vincent Medical Center. He was born in California on September 9, 1944.

William was employed for many years at Doehler Jarvis. He enjoyed spending time with his family; listening to old school music, cars, nature, riding his bike, fishing and talking with old friends.

William will be remembered as fiercely independent, kind hearted, a good listener; his love to laugh and most importantly, the love he had for his 3 daughters.

Surviving are his 3 loving daughters, Angela Rose, Alina (Marc) Dunbar and Anissa Davis; grandchildren: Marc III, Devon, Amber, Miles and Adia; great-grandchildren, Marc IV, Lincoln and Jaxxon; siblings, Diane Davis- Brown, Beverly Carpenter, Madelon Douglas, Sharon Carter, Ron “Tiny” Davis and Keith Davis and a host of nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Marie Davis; sister, Rosie Davis Mack, Barbara Jean and brothers, Winfred, Gerald, Carlton.

Family and friends will be received at the Newcomer Funeral Home (Southwest Chapel) 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd., Toledo on Wednesday, October 7, 2026 from 10:00-11:00AM. Services will follow immediately after visitation at 11:00 AM. Interment, Historic Woodlawn Cemetery.
