Wendy J. Roberts, a cherished soul, was born on July 6, 1950, in Toledo, Ohio. Her journey through life was marked by unwavering dedication and a profound love for her family and community. A bright beacon of strength, she passed away on November 26, 2025 surrounded by her family.

Wendy's career commenced at a tender age, where her industrious spirit shone brightly throughout her professional life. After many years of service, she concluded her remarkable tenure as a supervisor in deposit services at Fifth Third Bank, retiring in 1997. Her colleagues admired her for her organizational prowess, quick wit, and the generous warmth she imparted upon all those who had the privilege of working alongside her.

Education played a vital role in shaping Wendy’s character, as she attended Whitney High School, where her journey of learning and growth began. The values instilled during her formative years complemented her remarkable personality traits; she was respected, determined, and selfless, always extending a helping hand to others. Wendy's sense of humor brought joy to those around her, and her strength served as an inspiration.

Life was enriched by her hobbies, where she savored moments playing bunco with friends each month. She treasured vacations and cruises, reveling in the creation of lasting memories with family and friends alike. However, the true essence of Wendy's heart lay in her immeasurable pride in her family. She considered her family her greatest accomplishment, relishing her role as a grandmother and great-grandmother.

Wendy’s spirit shines through in her enduring legacy, leaving behind her son, Bryan; daughters, Melissa (Matthew), Nona "Shelly" (Brian), and Bridget; and her adored grandchildren, Leslie (Jermaine), Miles (Paige), Taylor, Chloey, Emily (Alex), Kiowa, John (Sestina), Cameron, Shaliah, Lorelei, and Devin. She was also blessed with numerous great-grandchildren, including Jaelei, Camden, Cooper, Julian, Miles, Layla, Logan, Madelynn, Marlee, Jude, Rhiannon, and Emery. Her memory will also be honored by her brother, Terry Pickerel, along with many nieces, nephews, and extended family and friends who were touched by her kindness and spirit.

Wendy was united in love with her late husband, Jack, to whom she was married for 33 beautiful years. She was predeceased by her parents, John and Lillian Pickerel, and her sister, Jacquelyn. Each of these individuals contributed to the rich tapestry of her life.
