Wayne W. Harrison

Wayne W. Harrison, a beloved figure in his community and a devoted family man, passed away on August 28, 2025, at the age of 68. Born on March 4, 1957, in Toledo, Ohio, Wayne led a life rich in love, laughter, and lasting memories.

Wayne dedicated more than 30 years of his life to Chariott Foods as a delivery driver until his well-earned retirement. Known for his loud, outspoken personality, he was a loving and carefree individual who brought joy to those around him. He was especially proud of his two sons, Kevin (Stacy) and Duane, and cherished every moment spent with them, often taking them on trips to air force museums, which fostered their shared interest in aviation.

A graduate of Sylvania High School, class of 1974, Wayne enjoyed a variety of hobbies including hunting, fishing, and shooting sporting clays. His passion for airplanes and air shows was complemented by his love of photography, capturing moments and memories throughout his life.

Wayne's legacy extends beyond his immediate accomplishments; he shared a deep bond with his late wife, Judy Burch, whom he married on June 29, 1977. He also leaves behind a host of family and friends, including his step-grandson, Allen; sisters Donna Taylor, Margaret Krause, and Christine (Tom) Canham; father-in-law Thomas Burch; and sisters-in-law Debbie (Bob) Conway, Tammy (Brian) Dalton, and Karen Harrison.

Wayne is preceded in death by his beloved wife Judy, his parents Howard and Lucille, and his brother Donald.

Visitation services will take place on September 7, 2025, from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home, West Sylvania, located at 3655 King Rd, Toledo, OH 43617.

Wayne W. Harrison will be deeply missed, but his spirit will continue to resonate in the hearts of those he touched with his kindness and warmth.
