Wanda Sue Phillips, age 75, of Toledo, passed away Saturday, August 30, 2014 at Heartland of Waterville. Born in Briceville, Tennessee to William and Willie Miller on February 26, 1939. She was proud of her Cherokee Heritage and loved to play her guitars and sing country and Gospel music.
Sue was preceded in death by her parents, brother, Leroy Miller; sisters, June Lay and Faye Harrington. She is survived by her sister, Rose Wolford; brother, Bobby (Donna) Miller; sons, Jeffrey (Sherry) Phillips and Roger (Lisa) Phillips and daughter, Tammie (Wadley, Jr.) Hall; 7 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
The family will receive guests Thursday, September 4, 2014 from 2:00 pm - 8:00 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home - SW Chapel, 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd. (419-381-1900). Funeral Services will begin Friday at 11:00 am. at the funeral home. Interment will follow in Springfield Township Cemetery.
