Twila Mae Archer

Twila M. Archer age 75 of Toledo, Ohio passed away peacefully on September 9, 2026 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Toledo. She was born Williams County, Ohio on August 23, 1951 to Maynard and Pauline (Jennings) Short.

Twila was employed as a home health aide in the Bryan, Archbold and Toledo areas. She was an active member of Monclova Road Baptist Church in Monclova where she participated in the sewing ministry and ladies Sunday school. Twila enjoyed reading, animals and art especially oil painting.

Surviving is her son, David R. Archer; sister, Sheila Ann Short and special friends, Ruth, Matthew, Heather and Allen Mulford. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Kaylene Lesnet and brother, Royce Short.

Family and friends will be received at the Newcomer Funeral Home (Southwest Chapel), 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd, Toledo on Wednesday, September 16, 2026 from 3:00-7:00 PM. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, September 16, 2026 at 10:00 AM at Monclova Road Baptist Church, 7819 Monclova Rd., Monclova, OH. Interment will follow at Ottawa Hills Memorial Park.
