Tomas Alonzo

Tomas Alonzo “Cat Dog” age 61 of Toledo, OH passed away on November 25, 2024, at Hospice of Northwest Ohio. He was born in Toledo on February 27, 1963, to Agustin and Mary Helen (Gonzales) Alonzo. 

Tomas was employed in the construction of homes. He enjoyed art, drawing, woodworking, fishing and spending time with his family and canine companion, Hook.

Surviving is his daughters, Carmen Atha, Alayna Meyer and Jennifer Alonzo; mother, Mary Helen Alonzo; siblings, Ernesto, Agustin Jr. “Tino”, Alicia, Luciana “Lucy” and Nicholas. Also surviving are many nieces and nephews. Tomas was preceded in death by his father, Agustin and sister, Andrea Alonzo.

Family and friends will be received at the Newcomer Funeral Home, (Southwest Chapel), 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd., Toledo on Monday, December 2, 2024, from 3:00-8:00 PM. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, December 3, 2024 at 11:00 AM at St. Peter and Paul's Catholic Church, 738 S. St Clair St, Toledo, OH 43609.
