Todd Allen Childress

Todd A. Childress, 44, passed away on June 22, 2026 at the University of Toledo Medical Center. He was born to Kathy and Darrel Childress in Toledo, OH on April 18, 1982.

Todd was an avid/exceptional bowler throughout his lifetime, achieving 27 "300" games, as well as 21 "800" series, the highest being 846. He was a loyal Pittsburgh Steelers, Ohio State Buckeyes, Detroit Tigers, Toledo Walleye and Detroit Red Wings fan. He also enjoyed whipping his nephews and friends at fantasy football. He touched the lives of everyone he knew with his gentle nature and kind heart. He will be deeply missed by many.

Todd is survived by his Mother, Kathy; fur "baby", Sadie; Sister, Dawn; Brother, Jamie (Tricia); Nephews, Codey, Casey & Carey, and many Aunts, Uncles & Cousins.

Todd was preceded in death by his Father, Darrel, Brother-in-law, Mike, and several family members.

There will be no visitation or funeral service. Cremation has been entrusted to the Newcomer Funeral Home, 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd, (Southwest Chapel) Toledo. The entire family appreciates your thoughts and prayers at this difficult time. Plans for a Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date.
