Timothy J. Reed, Sr.

Timothy J. "Tim" Reed, Sr., 62, of Toledo, passed away on October 28, 2026, at The Toledo Hospital. Born on December 27, 1963, in Toledo to Kertis Reed and Peggy (Mills) Fey, Tim honorably served in the U.S. Army and worked at Johns-Manville. He worked with the Liberty Center Athletic Boosters and dedicated over eight years as Head of concessions at Liberty Center High School. A passionate hunter and fisherman, Tim was a devoted fan of The Ohio State Buckeyes, Detroit Tigers, Detroit Lions, and the Liberty Center Tigers. Above all, he cherished the time spent with his children and grandchildren.

Tim is survived by his loving wife, Kristina S. Reed; his children, Amy Reed-Pennywitt, Timothy (Paula) Reed, Jr., Ashley Reed, and Alyssa (Amanda) Reed; his cherished grandchildren, Tyler Ireland, Payton Pennywitt, Sophia Pennywitt, Dillon Norris, Daxon Reed, Emersyn Reed, and Addisyn Reed; and his brother, Norm (Kelly) Reed. He was preceded in death by his parents, his granddaughter Ryleigh Pennywitt, his brother Jeffery Reed, and his sister Judy Allred.

Family and friends are invited to gather on Monday, November 2, 2026, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Newcomer-SW Chapel, 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd. Guests are also welcome on Tuesday, November 3, 2026, starting at 10:00 a.m. until the funeral service at 11:00 a.m. at the same location.
