Timothy E. Oliver

Timothy Oliver, 61, of Toledo, Ohio, departed this life on Saturday, October 11, 2025. He was born in Toledo, Ohio to Mary Lou Halbert (Don Halbert) and Mel Oliver. Tim dedicated much of his life to his work as a mechanic and retired in the summer of 2020 after many years of hard work and commitment to his craft.

Tim was a devoted father, brother, son, and friend. He will be fondly remembered for his sharp sense of humor, his love of Looney Tunes cartoons, creating art, and his remarkable knowledge of cars. His presence brought laughter and light to all who knew him.

He is survived by his children, Josh Oliver (Katie Tsouris), Brittany Wray (Jon Wray), Kaleb Oliver, and John Oliver (Kate McLeod); beloved grandchildren Jaxson, Mason, Nevaeh, Myah, Sophia, and Francesca. As well as his brother Tom Oliver (Lynette Oliver), and sister Tammy Hensley. He was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Lou Halbert (Don Halbert), his father, Mel Oliver; and his son, Timothy J. Oliver.

The gathering with friends and family will be held on Sunday, October 19, 2025, from 1:00pm to 2:00p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home (Southwest Chapel) 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd., Toledo, OH 43614. The services begin promptly after the gathering at 2:00pm.

The family wishes to extend their heartfelt gratitude to all who have offered kindness, friendship, and support during this difficult time.
