A proud graduate of Sylvania Northview High School, class of 1983, Tim was known for his enthusiasm and dedication, particularly in his love for cars. He had an extensive collection of models and matchbox cars, a testament to his passion and knowledge in the automotive world. Tim's love extended beyond machines; he was a devoted animal lover and worked tirelessly alongside his parents to foster and rescue countless cats and dogs over the years. His heart was as big as his collection, always willing to lend a helping hand.
In addition to his kindness and compassion, Tim was known for his unique personality. He could often be found bringing laughter to those around him with his goofy antics. His determination was remarkable; once he set his mind on something, he was steadfast in his beliefs. This unwavering resolve made him a proud Eagle Scout during his youth, an accomplishment that he held dear to his heart.
Tim is survived by his loving mother, Charman Mercer; brother, Walter Boyle; niece, Alisa Baker, and her husband Russel, along with his beloved faithful friend, Zeeke. He was preceded in death by his father, Howard Mercer.
As we remember Timothy D. Mercer, we celebrate his passion for life, his love for family and animals, and his unwavering spirit. He will be greatly missed, but his memories will live on in the hearts of those who loved him.
