Timothy H. Hickle

Timothy H. Hickle, affectionately known as "Tim," passed away on December 7, 2025, in Sylvania, Ohio. Born on May 8, 1966, in Toledo, Ohio, Tim was the youngest of his siblings and brought joy and laughter to those who knew him.

For over 20 years, Tim dedicated himself to his career as a security guard with First Energy, a job that he greatly enjoyed. His warm personality and sense of humor made an impact on everyone he met. Many believed he had a gift for comedy, as his funny remarks would brighten the lives of those around him. Tim also had a deep love for music and was an enthusiastic supporter of Ohio State Football and the Pittsburgh Steelers. Tim loved his Lord and Savior and was a member of Lewis Avenue Baptist Church.

Tim graduated from State Line Christian School then attended Hyles Anderson Christian College and furthered his education and received his associates degree from Stautzenberger College. His educational journey shaped him, contributing to the well-rounded individual he became.

He is survived by his loving family: his sister Carol Bolander, brother Omar Hickle and wife Debra; his sister-in-law Carol Hickle; his nieces Debbie Feehan and husband Pat, DeShawn Kadur and husband Stefan, Karen Moulton, Kim Westrick and husband Karl, Vanessa Medley and husband Bill, and Cindy Wallace and husband Jason; his nephew Brian Bolander and wife Julia; his step-son Greg Anderson; and his cherished grandsons Alex, Nick, Evan, and Jaxson Anderson, along with his granddaughter Lilly Fox and husband Landon, and great-grandson Emerson Fox. He also leaves behind a steadfast friend, Dawn Lewis, and a host of cousins, great nieces, and great nephews.

Tim was preceded in death by his brothers Ernie Hickle and Howard Hickle, and his parents Ernest Hickle and Pleasant Hickle. Their memories will be cherished as part of his legacy.

Visitation will be held on December 30, 2025, from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM, at the Newcomer Funeral Home, Northwest Toledo, located at 4150 W Laskey Rd, Toledo, OH 43623, followed by a memorial service from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM on the same day at the same location.

Tim Hickle will be remembered for his laughter, kindness, and the joy he brought to the lives of many. His spirit will live on in the hearts of all those who had the pleasure of knowing him.
