Thomas B. Vermett

Thomas Bronson Vermett, aged 78, of Bowling Green, Ohio, passed away peacefully on March 29, 2026, at the Bowling Green Manor. Born on August 13, 1947, in Toledo, Ohio, he was the cherished son of James K. and Frances J. (Vining) Vermett.

Tom dedicated much of his life to education, earning a bachelor's degree and serving as both a teacher and teacher’s aide. He also contributed nineteen years of service to the former Burlington Air and Bax Global. Tom had a deep appreciation for reading, history, and government. He found joy in boating, fishing, playing cards, and traveling, especially in the company of his longtime companion, Dianna.

He is lovingly remembered by Dianna B. Kluter and his stepson, Scott Landham.

A Celebration of Life service to honor Tom’s memory will be held at a later date. Arrangements are entrusted to Newcomer Funeral Home, Southwest Chapel, Toledo.
