Thomas J. "TJ" Maulbetsch Jr.

Thomas J. “TJ” Maulbetsch Jr., age 55 of Toledo, Ohio, passed away on June 25, 2025. He was born in Toledo on October 10, 1969, to Thomas J. and Judy Ann (Pratt) Maulbetsch Sr.

TJ was employed as a truck driver for ECM/Werner Trucking and Pitt Ohio. He enjoyed bible study, his squirrels, movies, cooking out and spending time with his family. TJ will be remembered for his contagious laugh and his willingness to help others.

Surviving is his wife, Lisa (nee Denny) Maulbetsch; children, Mitchell Maulbetsch, Lindsey (David) Genaw and Kyle Uerkwitz; grandchildren, Trenton, David, Magnolia, Azalea; father, Thomas J. Maulbetsch Sr.; sisters, Julie (Marty) Selvidge and Sabra Putinta. Also surviving are many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother.

Family and friends will be received at the Newcomer Funeral Home (SW Chapel), 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd., Toledo on Monday, July 7, 2025, from 11:00 AM-2:00 PM. A memorial service will immediately follow visitation at 2:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Cherry Street Mission and Toledo Humane Society.
