Thomas H. Conlan

Thomas Harry Conlan, age 83, of Holland, went to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on August 29, 2023, at West Park Place. He was born on February 15, 1940 and was raised in Toledo, graduating from Macomber High School in 1958. He then attended the University of Toledo and went to work for General Motors Powertrain for 38 years. Tom was a passionate follower of Notre Dame football, and he enjoyed parties with family and friends always ending in playing cards.

Tom was preceded in death by his parents, Edmund "Butch" and Audrey (Weier) Conlan, and his brother-in-law, David Hoffmann. Surviving is his loving wife of 59 years, Carroll (Yarder) Conlan; "'wonderful" children, Amy Conlan, Jeffrey (Tammy) Conlan, and Patrick (Carol) Conlan; siblings, Sharon Hoffmann, Carol (Denny) Agosti, and James Conlan; his "terrific" grandchildren, Piper, Kate, Cooper, Lucy, Parker and Tate Conlan; and many nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews.

The family suggests donations to St. Jude Children's Hospital in Tom's memory.

The family would like to give a heartfelt thank you to the staffs at West Park Place and Elara Caring Hospice for their exceptional care for Tom.

The family will receive guests on Friday, September 8, 2023 from 10:00 am until 11:00 am at Little Flower Catholic Church, 5522 Dorr Street Toledo, OH 43615, where a Funeral Mass will begin at 11:00 am.
