Theresa Marie Uribe

Theresa Marie Uribe, age 63, of Toledo, Ohio, peacefully entered eternal rest on Wednesday, June 24, 2026, at St. Vincent Hospital, surrounded by her loving family.

Theresa was born on May 6, 1963, in Toledo, Ohio, to the union of Luis and Amelia Uribe (Hernandez). She was the sixth of thirteen daughters. She was preceded in death by both of her parents and eight of her sisters.

She attended Woodward High School before dedicating herself to being a loving homemaker. Theresa found joy in caring for her family and creating a home filled with love, warmth, and laughter.

Later in life, Theresa reconnected with God through Summit Church, where she faithfully devoted her life to Him. Her faith became a source of strength, and she formed many lasting friendships through her church family.

Theresa loved music, dancing, cooking, and swimming. Above all, she cherished spending time with her family. Her daughters, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren were her greatest joy, and she loved them with her whole heart.

She leaves to cherish her memory her loving daughters, Juanita Lindley and Brandi Horton; her beloved son-in-law, Tremon Hinton; thirteen cherished grandchildren; two precious great-grandchildren; her sisters, Mary Jane (Dennis) Harabedian, Erlinda (John) Lands, Angela (Randy) Fritz, Roberta Uribe, and Patricia Uribe; along with many nieces, nephews, extended family members, church family, and dear friends.

Our mother was truly one of a kind. Her love was unconditional, her spirit was unforgettable, and her presence filled every room she entered. Though she is no longer with us, her love will continue to live on in our hearts forever. She will be deeply missed, forever loved, and never forgotten.

Family and friends are warmly invited to join us as we honor and celebrate the life of Theresa. Visitation will be held on Monday, July 6, from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd., Toledo, OH 43623. This will be a time to gather, share memories, offer comfort, and celebrate the love Theresa brought to so many lives.

A Celebration of Theresa's Life will be held on Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. at Summit Church, 5701 W. Sylvania Rd., Toledo, OH 43623. We invite all who knew and loved her to join us as we remember her with love, gratitude, and joyful hearts.
