Teri Kolb, age 77, of Whitehouse, Ohio, died suddenly and unexpectedly on September 13, 2025. She had recently undergone dental surgery; thankfully, she passed peacefully at home rather than in a hospital or nursing home, and we believe she died without pain.
She loved to shop for clothes; one time we counted 108 pair of shoes.
Born in Toledo, Teri graduated from DeVilbiss High School in 1965. She went on to become a respiratory therapist, beginning her career at Toledo Hospital and later working at St. Luke’s. In later years, she earned a degree in education from the University of Toledo.
Teri is survived by her husband of 51 years, Richard Kolb; her two sons, Jason Kolb and Robert Kolb; her granddaughter Devin Clark; her grandson Cameron Kolb; and her great-granddaughter Evelyn Clark. She is also survived by her sisters, Marjorie Mason (Ron) and Vickie Schnapp (Gary). She was preceded by her parents, Robert and Marjorie Beggs.
For over 50 years, we shared life’s experiences together. You were my companion, and now you are gone. Your sudden passing leaves a void in my life. I will miss you deeply; your spirit will remain forever in my heart.
In keeping with her wishes, there will be no visitation. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Condolences may be made at NewcomerToledo.com
