Teresa C. Rose, a beloved member of her community and cherished family matriarch, passed away unexpectedly at her home on February 5, 2026, just two days after her 59th birthday. Born on February 3, 1967, in Grand Forks, North Dakota, Teresa was known for her great sense of humor, her boundless generosity, and her unwavering faith.

Throughout her career at Honey Baked Ham, Teresa became known as a "workerbee," always showing gratitude for her work family and valuing the relationships she forged there. She was a diligent worker who inspired those around her with her commitment to hard work and her spirit of togetherness.

Teresa had a special gift for cooking and often shared the delicious meals she prepared with family and friends. Her love of the sunshine and swimming reflected her vibrant personality and zest for life. She enjoyed helping others in need, embodying the true essence of kindness and compassion, often going out of her way to lend a hand. She always remembered birthdays, ensuring that every occasion was marked with joy and love.

Her family was the focal point of Teresa’s life, and she took immense pride in her role as a mother, sister, and aunt. She is survived by her beloved son, Thomas J. Rose, and her loving siblings: John Rose, Joe (Vicky) Rose, Tim (Debbie) Rose, Maryanne (Brian) Vaughn, Martha Gribben, Jim (Shayne) Rose, and Margaret (Jim) Warren. Additionally, Teresa leaves behind numerous nephews, nieces, great nephews, and great nieces who will forever carry her memory in their hearts.

Teresa was preceded in death by her parents, Jean and Thomas Rose, who undoubtedly laid the foundation for the remarkable woman she became. She set an example of love and life for those around her, providing a shining light of faith and compassion in a world that often needs it.

A visitation in honor of Teresa will occur on Friday, February 13, 2026, from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home, Southwest Toledo, located at 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd, Toledo, OH 43614. A scripture service will follow the visitation at 7:00 PM. Saturday, February 14, morning prayers will take place at 9:30 AM, leading into a mass at St. Patrick of Heatherdowns Church, starting at 10:00 AM, located at 4201 Heatherdowns Blvd, Toledo, OH 43614.

Teresa C. Rose will be greatly missed by all who knew her, and her legacy of love, laughter, and kindness will live on through her family and friends.
