Steven A. Wandtke

Steven A. Wandtke, age 59, passed away May 15, 2025. He was born September 30, 1965 in Toledo to Dave and Marilyn (Leafgreen) Wandtke. Steve enjoyed his dogs, "Dixie" and "Loki," fishing, gardening, raising Monarch Butterflies, but the greatest love of Steve's life was spending time with his grandchildren.

He is survived by his daughters, RaighAnn Jackson, Dr. Meghan (Andrew) Barber and Nicole (James Helbing) Wandtke; grandchildren, Logan Barber, Ashton Humm, Mya Helbing and James Helbing, III; siblings, Susan (Gene) Benedict, Michael (Marisol) Wandtke and Stacey (Jim) Laubacher. The family would like to thank Nancy Stewart for her loving care of Steve.

The family will receive guests Thursday, May 22, 2025 from 2:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. at Newcomer - SW Chapel, 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd. (419-381-1900). A Sharing of Memories will be held Thursday at 6:00 p.m. in the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Cuties Fund with Lucas County Canine and Control in Steve's memory.
