Steven Michael Parrish

Steven Michael Parrish, 56, of Toledo, OH, passed away on October 14, 2026, at the University of Toledo Medical Center. Born on June 6, 1970 in Toledo to Douglas Parrish and Carol Kirshner, Steven will be remembered for his warmth, humor, kindness, and love of family, music, animals and Broadway musicals.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Anthony Douglas Parrish. Steven leaves behind his cherished sister, Charlene Parrish, along with her wife, Mara Gottlieb; his beloved niece, Julie Parrish; nephew Anthony Parrish; aunt Michele Alexander; stepfather Geoffrey Kirshner; stepmother Patricia Parrish; half-sisters Ashley Parrish and Nicole Gordon; sister-in-law Margie Parrish, and nieces Jennifer Parrish and Jessica Parrish-McKinney.

A celebration of Steven's life will take place on October 19th from 5-8 p.m. at the Woodlands Independent Living Center, 4020 Indian Road, Toledo OH. In honor of his memory, contributions can be made to the Humane Society of Toledo or the animal rescue of your choice.
