Steven "Jr." Brock, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend, passed away on April 11, 2026, in his hometown of Toledo, Ohio. Born on April 14, 1980, Steven lived a life marked by love, devotion, and simple joys.

A lifelong resident of Toledo, Steven attended Rogers High School, where he laid the foundations for a life filled with commitment to family and community. For many years, he was employed with Holland Building Services, where he was known for his dedication and hardworking nature.

Steven was a man who truly embodied the spirit of love and loyalty. Those who knew him well often say, "If Steven loved you, he loved you regardless, no matter what." His personality was defined by his loving heart, constant support, and an unwavering devotion to his family and friends. He was, in every sense, an all-around good guy.

Among Steven’s simple pleasures were watching WWE Wrestling, enjoying family gatherings, and sitting peacefully on the porch — moments that brought him great contentment throughout his life. It was in these quiet times that his gentle and sincere character shone most brightly.

Steven’s proudest accomplishments were the loving relationships he fostered with his devoted wife, Angel, whom he married on June 15, 2012, his cherished children Mariah (DeCarlo), Ivory (Chris), and Skyla, and his adoring grandchildren Donovan "Stink," Gianna "Gi-Gi," and Zion "Zi-Zi." He is also survived by his sisters Teresa and Amber (Mike), along with a host of extended family and friends who will remember him fondly. Steven was preceded in death by his parents, Stephen and Valerie Brock.

Family, love, and community were the cornerstones of Steven’s life. His presence was a source of strength, comfort, and joy to all who had the privilege of knowing him. He leaves behind a legacy of kindness and steadfast devotion that will continue to inspire those he loved.

A Memorial Gathering to honor Steven’s life will be held on May 1, 2026, from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home, Northwest Toledo, located at 4150 W Laskey Rd, Toledo, Ohio 43623. Friends and family are invited to come together to celebrate his memory.
