Shawn R. Murphy

Shawn R. Murphy, age 71, of Toledo, Ohio passed away March 23, 2026 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio Toledo Ebeid Hospice Center. He was born January 10, 1955 in Toledo to Hilton and Virginia (Keslar) Murphy. Shawn was a graduate of Sylvania High School and received his Bachelor of Business degree from Miami of Ohio. He was employed with the Floors + for more than 10 years. In his younger years, Shawn enjoyed basketball and golf, most recently he had a passion for following the stock market.

In addition to his parents, Shawn was also preceded in death by his son, James Murphy and father and mother-in-law, Edward and Donna Bialy. He is survived by his loving wife of 43 years, Karen J. Murphy; daughter, Caitlin (Darrell Miller) Murphy; grandchildren, Cameron Zunk, Averie Miller and Jahmari Miller and sister, Megan (Matthew) Murphy and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Per Shawn's wishes there will be no viewing or service.
