Sharon A. Hamilton

Sharon A. Hamilton, age 79, of Toledo, passed away August 20, 2025 at The Toledo Hospital. She was born August 26, 1945 in Toledo to Harold and Dorothy Barton. Sharon was a proud graduate of Libbey High School class of 1963. She was one of the founders of the monthly alumni luncheons for her class and their reunions. Libbey Cowgirl until the end. Sharon will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend.

In addition to her parents, Sharon was also preceded in death by her son, Norman Scott Hamilton and sister, Shirley Dudley. She is survived by her loving husband of 61 years, Norm Hamilton; daughter, Sherrie (Todd) Aunger; grandsons, Matthew (Kathryn) Hamilton, Charles Jones and Todd (Maria) Aunger, Jr.; great grandchildren, Amelia, Logan, Aiden, Mia, Sophie and Emma.

The family will receive guests Tuesday, August 26, 2025 from 3:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. at Newcomer - SW Chapel, 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd. (419-381-1900). Funeral Services will begin Wednesday at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Ottawa Hills Memorial Park Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to American Heart Association, American Cancer Society, Kidney Foundation or the charity of the donor's choice in Sharon 's memory.
