Sarah Ellen Quigley, age 60, of Maumee, Ohio, lovingly passed away on her birthday, November 20, 2025. She was born in Garland, Texas, to Carl J. and Julie (Marden) A. Christman. Sarah was a devoted wife, mother, daughter, sister, and friend, leaving a lasting impact on all those who knew her.
A passionate animal lover, Sarah held a special place in her heart for her beloved dogs, Rori and Jack. She enjoyed engaging in hands-on activities, from refurbishing furniture to restoring retro campers, creating cherished spaces like her beloved she-shed. Sarah had a deep appreciation for sports and was an enthusiastic high school athlete as well as a devoted fan of the Dallas Cowboys. The Olympics were always a time of excitement for her.
Sarah cherished moments spent with family and friends, whether it was fishing at Barton Lake or gathering around a cozy fire, enjoying laughter and companionship. She had an eye for great finds, and took great pleasure in the thrill of a bargain at garage sales and flea markets.
Sarah is survived by her loving husband, Mike; her beautiful daughter, Jordan; and her siblings, Jackie Christman, Laura Villagomez, Carl (Amy) Christman, Patty Winter (Gordon McLaughlin), and Allison Hamilton. She is also be remembered fondly by many special nieces and nephews, along with lifelong friends Mary Alice Dauer and Deneen Peters. She was preceded in death by her parents. Carl and Julie Christman; beloved best friend and sister-in-law, Carole Huffman, as well as her father and mother-in-law, Thomas and Beverly Quigley.
Family and friends are invited to gather for visitation at the Newcomer Funeral Home (Southwest Chapel), located at 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd., Toledo, on Tuesday, November 25, 2025, from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM, with a sharing of memories service commencing at 6:00 PM. A Celebration of Life luncheon will be announced at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to the Lucas County Pit Crew, 855 N. McCord Rd., Toledo, OH 43615.
Sarah's spirit of love and joy will continue to resonate in the hearts of all who had the privilege to know her.
