Russell Reed "Bug" Stockman, age 65, a lifelong resident of Toledo, passed away peacefully, Sunday, May 4th, 2025 at Blue Creek Nursing Home, Whitehouse, Ohio. He was born September 17th, 1959 to Charles and Jerry (Logan) Stockman, Sr. in Toledo. Russell graduated from Whitmer High School, Class of 78.
Russell worked at Jeep Corp for almost 20 years. His love of mechanics allowed him to spend hours working on cars. Russell was also an avid outdoorsman enjoying fishing and being out in nature under the warm sun.
Russell was kind man with a strong love for his family, friends and most importantly God. He was grateful for his family and looked forward to spending time with them playing Euchre, listening to music or just relaxing and remembering old memories. Quiet times were spent doing word search puzzles. Russell also treasured his dog Rusty.
Russell was preceeded in death by his mother, Jerry (Logan) Stockman and father, Charles Stockman, Sr.; brother, Charles Stockman and sister, Rachael Stockman. He is survived by his siblings: Charlene Chitwood and Gretchen (Ted) Ronau; daughter, Jackalyn Stockman; grandson, Seth Kutsch; and many nieces and nephews.
A special thank you to Southern Care Hospice Hospice and special friend, Jim Licata for the loving care and support each of them provided for Russell and his family.

Celebration of Life for Russell will take place at a later date to be determined.
