Rose Mary Palicki, 87, born on October 27, 1938, to parents Michael & Sophia (Pawlaczyk) Grabarczyk of Toledo, Ohio, passed away peacefully, leaving behind a legacy of love, devotion, compassion, and achievement that will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.

Rose was a truly special woman whose greatest gift was her ability to nurture others. A loving wife, devoted mother, caring stepmother, cherished Busia, beloved sister, aunt, and loyal friend. She had a natural way of making people feel supported, valued, and deeply loved. She celebrated others' successes, offered comfort during challenging times, and always made those around her feel welcome. Her home was a gathering place filled with warmth, laughter, and unconditional love. Family and friends alike knew they could count on Rose for wise advice, a listening ear, and a caring heart. Her kindness, patience, and generous spirit touched countless lives and created lasting bonds with everyone, fortunate enough to know her.

Rose shared a beautiful marriage with her beloved husband, William ("Bill") Palicki, who preceded her in death. Together they built a life centered on love, family, and mutual respect. Their partnership was a testament to enduring commitment and the memories they created together remained close to Rose's heart throughout her life.

As a sister, Rose shared a special bond with her siblings, built on love, laughter, support, and cherished memories. Family was always at the center of her life, and she treasured the relationships she cultivated over the years.

Professionally, Rose was an accomplished saleswoman who excelled in her field. Her dedication, determination, and remarkable ability to connect with people earned her numerous sales awards throughout her career. She was respected for her professionalism, admired for her work ethic, and celebrated for the success she achieved through hard work, perseverance, and integrity.

While Rose was proud of her professional accomplishments, her greatest joy came from her family. She embraced not only her children but also her stepchildren with an open heart, treating all of them with the same love, encouragement, and care. She cherished every moment spent with her children, stepchildren, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and siblings taking immense pride in their lives and accomplishments. Her love extended throughout her family, including her many nieces and nephews; each of whom held a special place in her heart.

She will be remembered for her warm smile, gentle wisdom, unwavering strength, and boundless compassion. Her life was a beautiful example of devotion to family, excellence in her profession and kindness toward all. Those who knew her were blessed by her presence, and those who loved her will carry her memory forever.

Rose was preceded in death by her parents Michael & Sophia Grabarczyk, her beloved husband, William ("Bill") Palicki, daughter Shirley Yager, sister Florence Grabarczyk, brothers Larry, Jim, Floyd & Danny Grabarczyk, brothers-in-law Scott Good & Ron Sugg, sister-in-law Carolynn Grabarczyk, and nephew Fritz Grabarczyk. She is survived by grandson Jeremy (Melissa) Yager whom Bill & Rose raised as their own, sons Jerry (Rondi) Vollmar, Terry (Amy) Vollmar, Rob (Debra) Vollmar, stepdaughters Karen (Roger) Lemle, Roxanne (Lee) Grinonneau, Libby (Tom) Spy and stepson Bradley (Stacy) Palicki, brother David (Mary) Grabarczyk, sisters Barb Good & Pat Sugg, sister-in-law Carol Grabarczyk, 21 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, her many nieces and nephews; and countless friends whose lives were enriched by her love and generosity.

Though she will be deeply missed, the love she shared and the values she embodied will remain a lasting source of comfort and inspiration. Her greatest achievement was not the awards she won, but the love she gave. Her greatest legacy lives on in the family she nurtured and the lives she touched.

Rose will be forever loved, forever remembered, and forever cherished.
