Ronald George Peeps Sr.

Ronald George Peeps Sr., age 86, of Toledo, Ohio passed away March 4, 2024 at The Grove at Oakleaf Village. Ron was born October 1, 1937 in Toledo, Ohio, to the late Donald and Gertrude (Metzger) Peeps.
Ron attended Whitmer High School. He worked for numerous engineering firms, which provided him opportunities for international travels. A man of faith, Ron was a Deacon at various parishes in the Toledo area and was a member of the Knights of Columbus. Ron enjoyed playing golf, bowling, and watching Ohio State Buckeyes and Cleveland Browns.
Those left to forever cherish his memory are his loving children, Dawn (Chris) Brand, Dana (David) Mitchell, Ronald (Sue Katsaris) Peeps Jr., Deanna (Kevin) McPartland; nine grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; and brother, Richard (Rose) Peeps.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 53 years, Madonna (Pawlaczyk) Peeps; brother, Gary; and sister, Norma.
A private family gathering will take place. Funeral Mass will take place on Monday, March 11, 2024, at 10:30 am, at Christ the King Catholic Church, 4100 Harvest Ln, Toledo, Ohio 43623. Ron will be laid to rest at Resurrection Catholic Cemetery at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association Northwest Ohio Chapter, 480 W. Dussel Dr #140, Maumee, Ohio 43537.
