Ronald A. Ledzianowski

Ronald Andrew Ledzianowski, 62, of Toledo, Ohio, passed away on November 3, 2025. Born on March 9, 1963, Ron lived a life defined by integrity, humor, and profound love for his family.

Ron was a graduate of Central Catholic High School, class of 1981, and furthered his education in machine repair through night classes at Owens Community College. For the past decade, Ron worked as a machine repairman at the Stellantis Dundee Engine Plant. He was a proud member of the UAW Local 12. One of the best times in his career was finding long lasting friendships while working at General Mills, where he remained until the plant’s closure in 2001.

Ron was a hardworking man who embodied old-school values and a quick wit. Known for jokingly calling himself “quiet, shy, and reserved,” he was anything but. He was passionate about history, drag racing, and classic cartoons. He found joy in simple pleasures like a cold Bud Light after a long night’s work.

He took great pride in his children and cherished years of camping trips, fishing out on the lake, and countless soccer games.

He is survived by his children,  Andrew, Lauren, and Samantha; granddaughter, Skylar; brothers, Michael (Maureen) and James (Dawn) Ledzianowski; and sister-in-law, Nancy Ledzianowski. Ron also leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews, and beloved friends and coworkers. He was preceded in death by his parents, Donald and Charlotte, and his brother, Steven Ledzianowski.

Ron will be remembered for his steadfast loyalty, quick humor, and the deep love he carried for those closest to him.

A memorial gathering to celebrate Ron’s life will be held at Newcomer Funeral Home NW Chapel, 4150 W. Laskey Rd., Toledo (419-473-0300) on Saturday, November 15, 2025, from 1:00 - 3:00 PM.
