Ronald F. Jurski

Ronald Jurski, beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend, passed away peacefully on November 16, 2025. Born on June 27, 1944, to Genevieve and Anthony Jurski in North Toledo, Ron grew up with a deep appreciation for family, hard work, and community-values that shaped his entire life.

Ron was blessed to share more than six decades of marriage with the love of his life, Susan (Buchholz) Jurski. Together they built a home filled with devotion, laughter, and unwavering support. Their bond remained unbroken until his final moment, when Ron took his last breath with Susan by his side.

He was preceded in death by his parents, all but two of his siblings, and his firstborn daughter, Denise Jurski.

Left to honor and cherish his memory are his wife, Susan; his sons Ron (Jackie) and Matthew (Lindsey); his daughter Kellie (Raymond); and his grandchildren Kayleen, Christopher , Emma, and Olivia, each of whom brought him immense pride and joy.

Ron dedicated decades of his life to the appliance business, where he worked with integrity, skill, and a genuine desire to help others. His work introduced him to countless people, many of whom became lifelong friends. Ron had a gift for making others feel valued, and his kindness touched more lives than he ever realized.

On his final day, Ron was visited by many of the special people who had been part of his journey, including Tom Kelperek, his childhood best friend. After sharing those final moments of connection, he passed away quietly, alone with the love of his life.

A celebration of Ron will take place Thursday, November 20, 2025 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Sylvania, Ohio from 11:30 a.m. until the time of the Funeral Mass at 12:30 p.m. where those who loved Ron will be able to say goodbye and spend some time with his family.

In honor of Ron’s life, the family suggests donations be made to the Residents of “Landings of Oregon,” where he spent the final year of his life courageously battling dementia. These gifts will help support the community that cared for him with compassion and dignity
