Roger D. Lafferty

Roger D. Lafferty, age 75, of Toledo, passed away peacefully Thursday, September 17, 2020 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Toledo. He was born on August 19, 1945 to Lloyd and Lillian (Spears) Lafferty in Bloomfield, West Virginia. Roger was employed with Johns Manville on Dutch Rd. for many years before retiring. He loved music and played country western music as well. Roger enjoyed spending time with his family and grandchildren. His smile, spirit and caring nature will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

Roger is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Sandra Lafferty; sons, Dennis and David Lafferty; grandchildren, Devin, Anthony, Aslynn, Skylar and Zack; great-grandchildren, Drake, Karson, Dakota and Hannley; brother, Michael Lafferty; sisters, Cellea (Charles) Nowlin and Rita (Randy) Lambert; best friend, William (Donna) Grimm; and many other family members and dear friends.

There will be no visitation or services at this time for Roger. Newcomer – Southwest Chapel, Toledo (419-392-9500) assisted the family with professional services.
