Roger D. Freeman

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Roger D. Freeman, aged 71, of Holland, Ohio, who peacefully departed this life on September 27, 2025, at his home. Born on May 3, 1954, in Toledo to Frank and Lera (Owens) Freeman, Roger lived a life filled with hard work and love.

Roger dedicated over 40 years to his craft as a tradesman and millwright, earning respect and admiration in his field until his retirement. He took immense pride in being a father and cherished his role as a devoted Papa to his grandchildren, who brought him boundless joy and happiness. His family meant the world to him, and he found great pleasure in spending time together, sharing moments with his beloved dogs, Lucy and his grand puppies, as well as indulging in hands-on projects.

Roger is survived by his children, Aimee Lynn Freeman and Brandon Jeffrey (Michelle Young) Freeman, along with his cherished grandchildren: Ethan, Allison, Shawn, Luna, and Lily. He also leaves behind his brother, Danny (Debbie) Freeman. He was preceded in death by his brother, Jerry Freeman, and his parents.

In honor of Roger's life, a memorial service will be held at a later date. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
