Robin Ann (Ayers) O'Connor

Robin Ann (Ayers) O'Connor, of Toledo, Ohio, passed away on August 30, 2026, in Toledo, with loving family by her side. She was born on March 20, 1963, in Toledo, to John and Karen (Gosda) Ayers, and will be remembered as a woman with a huge heart who meant so much to the people around her.

Robin was a wonderful person and, in many ways, the matriarch of her family. She was always there for others, and everyone could count on her. A hard worker throughout her life, she brought that same steady devotion to the people and places she loved most. Robin was an avid fan of the Detroit Tigers, the Cleveland Browns, and The Ohio State Buckeyes, and she enjoyed cheering on her teams with the same enthusiasm she brought to everyday life.

Robin loved traveling with her husband and especially enjoyed their frequent trips to casinos, up North or a quick Florida trip to relax and visit family. She also treasured Put-In-Bay trips, among other places, with her childhood best friends, Lisa Heinrich and Cheri Hand; creating lasting memories in places that brought her joy. Robin loved her family deeply, especially her nieces and nephews, and she also enjoyed relaxing with a good margarita at her favorite place, Ventura’s.

Left to cherish Robin’s memory are her mother, Karen Fulkert; brother, Dewey Ayers; sister, Beth (Dave Fuller) Kramer; 3 nieces; 4 nephews; 2 great-nieces; 1 great-nephew; several loving cousins and many more dear friends.

She is also remembered with love in connection with her husband, Greg O'Connor, whose passing on August 2, 2026, came shortly before her own. The bond they shared was an important part of her life, and the memories of their time together will remain dear to those who knew and loved them. She was also preceded in death by her father, John Ayers; brother, Mark Ayers; sister, Carol Ayers Barton; and stepfather, Glenn Fulkert.

Robin will be remembered for her warmth, her strength, her loyalty to family and friends, and the way she made herself a constant source of support for others. Her life touched many, and her memory will continue to live on in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know her.

Family and friends are invited to celebrate Robin and Greg on Sunday, September 13, 2026 from 1:00 pm until the start of Memorial Service at 5:00 pm, at Newcomer Funeral Home - West Sylvania Chapel, 3655 King Rd, Toledo.
