Robert L. "Bob" Lefevre, age 87, of Toledo, Ohio, passed away peacefully surrounded by love on his birthday and 63rd wedding anniversary. November 4, 2023, at Hospice of Northwest Ohio Perrysburg. Bob was born November 4, 1936, in Toledo, Ohio, to the late Robert G. and Marie R. (Wilbeck) Lefevre.
Bob was a proud 1954 graduate of Macomber High School and continued his education at the University of Toledo. He worked as a Sales/Engineer for Dana Corporation, where he retired after a long and dedicated 38 years. During retirement, Bob enjoyed working at the Toledo Art Museum as one of the gallery guards; working there he met a lot of new people and learned about the art that was displayed. Bob was a proud North-ender and lived his adult years in the Point Place and Shoreland area
He was a past Master of Harbor Light Lodge #746 and a member of the Scottish Rite, Valley of Toledo. Bob was an avid Bridge player, and loved fishing, hunting, going out on the water in his wooden boat, and taking trips to Hawaii, Canada, Houghton Lake, and Long Beach. He loved sports, especially the Ohio State Buckeyes and New York Yankees. With a love for sports came the opportunity to coach Stickney School in the NTOFA Jr. leagues. Bob also played Federation football and softball.
Most of all, Bob loved his family, especially his grandchildren. The memories made will forever be remembered. This is not goodbye, but we will see you again!
Those left to forever cherish his memory are his loving wife, Becky (Jeffery) Lefevre, whom he married on November 4, 1960; children, Keith Lefevre, Julie (Dave) Hogan, and Rob (Pam) Lefevre; grandchildren, Molly (Clayton), Ben (Jenna), Emily, and Kristen (Joe); siblings, Bill (Sandy) Lefevre and Steve Lefevre; and numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Bob was preceded in death by his brother, Jerry (Kathy) Lefevre and sister-in-law, Caren Lefevre.
Family and friends may visit at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 West Laskey Road, Toledo, Ohio 43623, on Tuesday, November 14, 2023, from 2:00 pm – 7:00 pm. A Sharing of Memories will begin at 6:00 pm.
