Robert Lee Skillman

Robert L. Skillman, age 65, passed away Tuesday, December 27th, 2011 at The University of Toledo medical center. He was born February 11th, 1946 to Joseph and Rosella (Watson) Skillman, Sr. in Toledo. Robert was a U.S. Navy veteran, serving his country proudly. He was an avid collector of Lighthouses. Robert also enjoyed playing cards, especially poker. He was a loving father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, uncle and friend and he cherished the time he was able to spend with his family.

In addition to his parents, Robert was preceded in death by his wife, Sandy; daughter, Bobbie Joe and mother-in-law, Goldie Rickman. He is survived by his loving daughters, Tina (Richard) Wood and Yvonne Schumacher; grandchildren, Montie Rickman, Clinton (Deanna) Parsons, Timothy (Sheryl) Rickman, Richard Wood, II and Elijah Schumacher; great grandchildren, Marissa Reilly, Baylee Parsons, Nevaeh Parsons, Timothy Rickman, Jr. and Ania Rickman; sister, Candace (Robert Hofbauer) Wilkinson; brothers, Joseph (Wilma) Skillman, Jr. and Walter James Skillman; Nieces & Nephews, Tammy Woodby, Ricky Wilkinson, Carla, Joseph and James Skillman.

A private visitation was held for the family at Newcomer Funeral Home, Toledo, Ohio.
