Born on July 26, 1950, Robert's journey began in a modest home, and through hard work and determination, he built a life that spoke volumes of his character.

After attending Springfield High School throughout his youth, he possessed a high school degree that proved to be more than just a piece of paper; it was a testament to his commitment to personal growth and lifelong learning. For many years, Robert devoted his professional life to Johnson Control, where his diligent contributions and steadfast reliability were later matched only by the fond memories he left in the hearts of his colleagues.

Beyond his work, Robert's spirit breathed life into a multitude of hobbies that brought him joy and camaraderie. He found solace in the outdoors, relishing the peacefulness of fishing, the thrill of boating, and the shared laughter during bowling outings with friends. He was also a passionate golfer. These pastimes enriched his life and embraced the treasures of friendship and family.

Robert's heart was thoroughly invested in his family. He is survived by his loving daughter, Tiffany (James) Penix; his son, Ryan Kemp; his twin sister Becky Williams, his beloved grandson, Aaron (Rachel) Valadez; and his great-grandchildren, Rogelio Valadez, Javier Valadez, Sofia Valadez, and Willow Penix. Each of them carries forward a piece of his spirit and the unwavering love he bestowed upon them.

In the quiet corners of his past, we remember the influence of those who preceded him in death—his dear mother, Mary Ellen Lee, and his father, Floyd Kemp, whose lives shaped his own and instilled in him the values he cherished.
