Robert "Bob" Jimison, a beloved husband, father, and grandfather, journeyed into eternal peace on January 27, 2026, in Sylvania, Ohio, at the age of 83. Born on July 10, 1942, in Findlay, Ohio, Bob was a proud graduate of North Baltimore High School, Class of 1960, and briefly attended Findlay College. He dedicated over 44 years of his life working as the Area Supervisor for Buckeye Pipeline, earning the respect and admiration of colleagues and friends alike.
He was known for his outgoing and friendly nature, always quick to share a hearty laugh with those around him. Bob's boisterous demeanor, combined with a lovingly stubborn streak, made him a cherished member of his community and an unforgettable presence in the lives of his family. He was truly a family man at heart, whose proudest accomplishments included being a devoted husband and an engaging father and grandfather.
Bob shared a beautiful life filled with adventure and laughter with his beloved wife of over 62 years, Penny Jimison. Together, they spent six joyful years traveling in their RV, creating memories that will forever be etched in the hearts of those who loved him. Whether it was golfing, fishing, or enjoying trips to the casino, Bob embraced life with an enthusiasm that was infectious. His love for dining out, savoring meals three times a week, was just one more way he reveled in good company and good food.
Bob leaves behind a loving family that includes his son Daniel Jimison, son Todd (Angela) Jimison, granddaughter Olivia Jimison, step-granddaughter Amanda (Jeff) Schreiner, and great-grandchildren Barrett and Madelaine. Together, they carry on his legacy of love, laughter, and devotion.
His parents, Mary Jane Jimison (nee Barger) and Cecil Jimison, have preceded him in death. While their absence is deeply felt, the stories they shared and the values they instilled in Bob live on through the family he cherished so much.
Those who knew Bob will remember him not only for his stellar sense of humor and warm, friendly demeanor but also for the profound impact he had on everyone fortunate enough to cross his path. As we gather to honor his life, we find solace in the many memories created, and we will forever hold him in our hearts.
