Robert Lee Cole January 16, 1990 – August 29, 2026

Robert Lee Cole of Toledo, Ohio born January 16, 1990, passed away unexpectedly on August 29, 2026, following a tragic accident. His passing has left a deep and lasting sadness in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.

Robert was the beloved son of the Paula Cole (deceased) and Steven Ernst. He was a loving husband to Alissa Miranda-Cole and a cherished brother to Jamie Faulkner (Justin) and Steven Ernst (Jennifer).

Robert was a devoted father and stepfather to Robert Lee Cole Jr., Miylee Cole, Jaelynn Cole, Xavier Cole, and Jo-el Escobar. He also held a special place in his heart for his beloved canine companions, Gypsy and Ace. He leaves behind many nieces, nephews, aunts, cousins, and countless friends who will forever remember the impact he had on their lives.

His children were one of the greatest loves of his life. The love he had for them was immeasurable, and his memory and love will continue to live on through each of them.

Robert will be remembered for the person he was—the love he gave, the laughter he shared, and the countless memories he created with his family and friends. He was a hardworking mechanic at Taylor Kia who took pride in his work. He loved boating, spending time with those he cared about, and, most of all, making everyone around him laugh. His sense of humor could brighten a room, and his ability to make others smile was a gift that will never be forgotten.

Robert’s life was far too short, but the love, laughter, and joy he brought into the lives of others were immeasurable. He is now reunited with his beloved mother, Paula, and we hope that thought brings a small measure of comfort to his family during this heartbreaking time.

Though we cannot understand why Robert was taken from us so soon, we can be grateful for every moment we were given with him—for every memory, every laugh, every adventure, and every expression of love.

His children will carry his love. His family will carry his memories. His friends will carry the moments they shared with him. And everyone who loved him will carry him in their hearts forever.

Robert’s life may have ended, but his love never will.

Forever loved. Forever missed. Never forgotten.
