Robert "Bob" W. Benarth

Robert W. "Bob" Benarth, age 79, of Wauseon, OH passed away March 10, 2026 at Fulton County Health Center. He was born February 22, 1947 in Toledo to Delbert and Ibert (Wellman) Benarth. Bob met his wife, Janice while working together at Toledo Hospital. He was then drafted in the U.S. Army serving during the Vietnam War and was stationed in Alaska. Bob then worked for Lynn and Fink unloading tank trucks, Fred Christianson's as a roofer and also worked for the Canberra Corporation. Bob enjoyed tinkering in the garage with Kevin and also camping at Sunny's Campground in Wauseon.

In addition to his parents, Bob was also preceded in death by his son, Kevin Benarth. He is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Janice Benarth; son, Brian (Janelle) Benarth; grandchildren, Heaven, Alisha, Joshua (Natalie), Brandon (Paige), Alexandria and Zachary; great grandchildren, Eliyana and Romi; and siblings, Mike (Kim) Benarth, Sally (Benarth) Martens, Alva (Linda) Benarth, Vicky Benarth, Frank Benarth, Gege (Benarth) Sprague, Joey Benarth and Tim (Anna) Benarth.

The family will receive guests Sunday, March 15, 2026 from 2:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. at Newcomer - SW Chapel, 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd. (419-381-1900). Funeral Services will begin Monday at 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home. Entombment will follow at Restlawn Memorial Park Cemetery.
